Natural Form

Four Examples of Natural Form:

Natural is the original form of an object found in nature. Examples include flowers, tree, human form, etc. I choose two pictures of flowers that show natural form. Then I choose a beach picture with a rock that show it's natural form. The last is a picture of a statue and represents human natural form.

Four Images of Geometric Form

Four Images of Geometric Form:

Geometric form are forms that that contain shapes that are circular, square, etc. The clock and fruit clearly demonstrate circular objects. As for the cup and letters they take on a different form but still convey the rules of geometric.

Plane Images

Four Images of Plane:

A plane consist of closed lines that creates a space. Typically creating width and depth. For my examples I used two examples of porches, which are the bottom two pictures, the railing works as the line that closes of a space to create a plane. The first picture is taken in a barn where you can still see the frame of the roof. These wood planks work as the lines that create the plane at the top of the building. The second picture is a picture from the mountains where you see the hot tub and railing, here the stone wall and railing work to create a plane.

Implied Space

Four Examples of Implied Space:

My take on Implied space is an area in which has been altered in some way to serve a purpose and give people direction. The picture of the dirt path implies a walkway for people to follow. The beach picture with the fence, gates off space and creates a pathway for people. The other picture of the coffee shop creates a space with the couch and table giving people an area to sit. The final picture of the road, creates implied space from the woods around it. Before the road was built there was only wooded space but then the road gave people an area to travel through.

Implied Texture

               Four Images of Implied Texture:

Implied texture is something that looks as if it might have an actual texture, but in reality it doesn't. For my images there are two pictures of time with patterns that give the illusion of texture. The other two are taken from a shirt pattern and a picture. The shirt has a flower pattern on it that implies texture but doesn't have it and the picture is painting to give the look of realism, therefore making the dress look as if it has texture.

Actual Texture

                     Four Images of Actual Texture:

Actual texture is an object or thing that has texture to it. I choose pictures of flowers, trees, sand, and rocks because all of these objects have texture that you can see and feel.

Actual Spaces

                                   Two Actual Spaces:

These two pictures serve as actual spaces because the both serve a function. The football field is a space used for games to be held. The doorway in the second picture gives actual space in a closed area in which you follow.
