Unusually Beautiful

This may not be beautiful for most people and is usually seen as strange or scary in the American society, but in certain tribes in Africa this scaring of the body is seen as beautiful. Certain marks have different meanings such as for morning, love, and some for looks. People in these African tribes all scar their bodies and see it as normal for everyone to have. If they came to different places around the world though not many people would approve of this look and find it disturbing that someone would scar themselves. But for the people of this tribe they see the scarring as attractive. I choose this picture because people have to challenge themselves in order to understand and think in a different perspective such as the people of this tribe see the beauty in it.
